We recently visited Grill Gate and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the cheeseburger and the Philly steak Caesar salad, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. Not only was the burger impressively large, but the salad was equally satisfying. The coated fries were crispy and delicious,you should taste it, While the prices are a bit higher compared to other burger joints, the portions definitely make it worth the expense. Grill Gate has easily made it into my top three burger spots, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. It's no wonder they have such a high rating on Google Maps
Service was friendly, and fast. Food speaks for itself. Definitely a little on the pricier side for a quick bite but once you taste it you’ll know why. Definitely worth every cent, the side sauce that comes with the fries is amazing. And they have the good kind of fries too! So crispy. I can’t get enough of the smoky bacon Philly sandwich! I get it every time and it never disappoints. Atmosphere is nice and clean as well.
I was working in the area and came here for lunch. I’ve never been here before so I asked the cashier what was popular. She was very helpful in explaining the menu items. She recommended the Spicy Mushroom Burger. I wanted a poutine so I got the special steak poutine as well. I love spicy food so this burger hit the spot. Had the right amount of kick and the ingredients came together so well. It’s a little pricy but it lands in my top 3 best burgers I’ve ever ate. The poutine was flavourful and had some interesting ingredients in it to make the dish. It was a good poutine but not the best. Overall I would go here again and try a different burger
5 stars! We had a great meal here. We ordered the kebab wrap, Philly cheese sandwich, and the Beirut burger. Everything was tasty, but the burger really stood out—it was juicy, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great burger and solid food overall!
I always drive past this place but i didnt really like the way the photos looked lol. Yes yes i know. Dont judge a book by its cover. Boy was I so wrong. The burgers are so delicious!!! The fries were delicious!! The onion rings were superb. I would go back again. I ordered the spicy mushroom cheeseburger. Heaven. It was so juicy and the amount of cheese on there was . I think they even torched the cheese!! My burger was amazing. The only issue i had with the burger which isn’t even really an issue is they only have 8oz burgers. Go with a big appetite. Its worth it! The fries were fresh and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The drinks were your run of the mill pop selection. I think you order at the counter. Thats what we did. Then find your seat. GO TRY THIS PLACE NOW!!
Grill Gate is one of my go-to spots! Their sandwiches are amazing—especially the Philly steak, which is my absolute favorite. Beyond the great food, what really stands out is their excellent customer service. The staff are always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely nice. The restaurant is clean, and everything is prepared super quickly, so I never have to wait long. Highly recommend!

We ordered the Philly steak sandwich and the mushroom burger. The taste was great! The Philly steak sandwich was huge, and compared to the other Grill Gate store in Richmond Hill, I found it to be tastier and fresher. The hamburger was also excellent and the fries portion was generous. However, one issue was that both sandwiches had almost the same flavour. I assume the same mushroom paste or sauce was used in both. I believe it would have been nicer if there was a little bit of variation in their taste. The staff were super friendly and respectful and made the atmosphere more welcoming and comfortable. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely consider returning to try more of their menu.
